Six variants, two shapes
The range includes symmetrical models and ergonomic right-handed versions. Three constructions are available: ABS for ULTRALIGHT, magnesium alloy for MG and carbon fibre for CF. The symmetrical ULTRALIGHT version is rated at 37 g.
Corsair equips these mice with a MARKSMAN X 42K sensor and polling rates up to 8,000 Hz over both USB and wireless. Main functions are configured through the brand's Web Hub.
The promise centres on movement
Corsair reports that its tests show up to a 33% reduction in time spent aiming and correcting aim. This figure reflects the manufacturer's test protocol; it does not predict every player's improvement in a match.
A profile stored in the mouse
Calibration takes place in Aimlabs: PureVector analyses how movements differ by direction, then adjusts the corresponding sensitivity. The profile is then stored in the mouse firmware. According to Corsair, using it therefore does not require an application to remain running in the background.
Battery life depends heavily on the selected polling rate. Corsair claims up to 140 hours at 1,000 Hz for ULTRALIGHT, versus 25 hours at 8,000 Hz. For MG and CF, the stated figures are 200 and 31 hours. These are manufacturer measurements, distinct from battery life verified in real use. Shape and weight can affect comfort more than always using the highest polling rate.

Key takeaways
PureVector's value will be judged over time: does it still feel natural, and are settings easy to reproduce between games? Grip and tracking consistency will remain just as important. A new personalisation method does not remove the need to choose a shape that fits your hand.
