Arc Pro B70: some prices exceed $2,000, with increases also reaching Europe

VideoCardz reports a $2,394.86 listing for the Intel card, compared with a $949 launch MSRP. It also notes high-priced listings for ASRock, MAXSUN and GUNNIR models. Its survey still mentions a cheaper ASRock offer at $1,299.99.

The distinction matters: the price highlighted by a marketplace may reflect one seller's conditions. On its own, it cannot establish the average price buyers pay. The table below reproduces selected dated listings, not a universal B70 valuation.

Checking Geizhals on 28 October confirms a €1,689 listing for Intel part 33P01IB0BB, excluding shipping. The lowest displayed offer lists delivery to Germany only. French readers should therefore not treat this as a price delivered to their address.

The same comparison site lists several retailers with different terms: payment, shipping or collection can change the final cost. For a business purchase, comparisons also need the same tax basis and the exact model, rather than directly comparing a US dollar price with a European euro price.

A higher purchase price can change the balance of a configuration chosen for its memory capacity. The calculation should cover the whole machine and the expected service: card, power supply, cooling, compatible software and time saved in real use.

It would be equally misleading to conclude that the most expensive model offers more performance because its price has risen. Hardware changes and changes to a commercial offer must be distinguished. For multi-card projects, comparing several quotes on the same date avoids multiplying an exceptional price by the planned GPU count.
